We not only produce high-quality snack seasonings and flavour components, but also work closely with our customers to develop tailor-made solutions that take their products to a new level. This is achieved at our innovation meetings in an interplay between development, marketing, key account management and the customer. Intensive market research is carried out for the respective customer and trendy snack seasonings are developed on a customised basis.

From 19 - 21 November 2024, the Fi Europe trade fair will take place in Frankfurt, an event that you can't miss as a company operating in the food industry. For us, this is an opportunity to experience the food industry up close and to find out about the latest developments. We will be presenting both our new snack concept Smokewood Heritage and our chilled ingredients brand Bresc at stand 4.1H2. We look forward to meeting you there.

Smoke has been a fundamental part of cooking for centuries, and its appeal is stronger than ever. Today, smoke flavour is a top trend in the snack market, with barbecue ranking as the third most popular snack flavour worldwide. Showing that we are on the edge of time – we created our new snack concept, called Smokewood Heritage. It offers a unique and innovative way to transform smoked everyday snacks into a differentiated flavour experiences.

BRESC’s unique Chilled-Fresh ingredients are designed to add a culinary twist to hot or cold recipe creations – more intensive taste than dried spices, achieved by small, cost-efficient quantities. While focusing on best raw materials choice, Bresc’s recipes are conceived to inspire product development and to add-up in taste intensive, unique innovations – winning with consumers while being cost-efficient.

The annual experiential education week for our first-year apprentices took place at the end of June. This year, 12 apprentices travelled to Kleinwalsertal, Austria. The group was a colourful mix: different age groups, two locations and five professions. Business people, dual students, logistics specialists, mechatronics engineers and IT specialists were all on the trip. The focus was on getting to know each other and gaining valuable experience.

In 2023, we have reorganised the topic of sustainability for our company. In six strategic fields of action, which we have defined as essential for Hügli, our company is to become continuously more sustainable.

Our product developers have created eight new snack mixes as a tribute to this year's European Championships. Not only the European Championship 2024, but also the comfort food trend has been taken up in our new flavours. Our snack mixes are reminiscent of familiar dishes from the participating European countries and will make you reminisce.

On 19 and 20 June 2024, Snackex will open its doors again, this year in Stockholm. When it comes to the leading trade fair for snacks and convenience products, we will also be there with our new snack mixes. You will find us at stand 422. Until then, our preparations are underway and the anticipation of our team is growing.
